There were two main reasons behind Monroe’s decision to launch an online orientation. The college applied for a grant to increase student success, retention and persistence. One of the grant requirements was to re-design the on-campus orientation and develop an online option for students. By leveraging the features and capacity of Advantage Orientation®, Monroe is also able to meet Title IX mandates. Today, they have transparent, accurate, real-time data to see which students have completed Title IX training and which have not. They can see where students are struggling and reach out to them to help.
