Boston University will soon launch their online orientation with videos featuring students, faculty, and staff. Filmed on a balmy 80o day in October, our film crew (far right) was excited to work with project lead Hannah Pereira (far left), Dean Jason Campbell-Foster (center), and Dr. Melissa L. Gilliam, newly appointed BU president.
The campus of Denison University overlooks the Village of Granville, OH, just down the road from Columbus. Videos feature student talent within the pastoral beauty of iconic locations and reflect on a vibrant student life. Nathan Graves led the development for Denison and recalls how "the production crew was really great to work with. They helped us capture the essence of our campus on film. It was great to see our campus through their eyes."
Every institution is unique and reflects the interests of its students and the culture of its community. Rodeo is an official athletic program at Lassen Community College, located in Susanville in the high mountain lake country of northeastern California. Our video team captured plenty of B-roll to include in this online orientation for all new students.
Rhodes College is a nationally ranked, private, liberal arts institution founded in 1848. Located in Memphis, the campus is known for its striking and historically significant architecture. The picturesque setting made for the perfect backdrop for filming on campus, including a campus tour, to serve freshmen, international, transfer, and graduate students and student-athletes.
The University of Alberta is a busy place — more than 44,000 students across 18 faculties at five separate campus locations — four in Edmonton and one in Camrose — plus other unique locations across the province. Their project leads chose to film at two campuses to serve undergraduate, graduate, online, military and veteran, international, and Indigenous student populations.
"The most exciting thing about being able to show the campus and show everything in video is that you can help students feel like they're here." Logan Adams led Arizona's online orientation development and chose to amplify video content to include Student Testimonials, Campus tours, College Features, and Instructional videos.
